Team Derriere Equestrian are excited to
announce
We have had an incredible response to the shout out for
Photographers and have been inundated with emails, which is great. We
have an wonderful brand and the work we do with photo shoots and video
shoots with the team are always dynamic, energetic and creative for all
involved. Our products sell throughout the UK in Equestrian Retailers
and through 105 retailers in 29 countries around the world. Our media
and images go far and wide and are represented on many equestrian
eCommerce websites globally, with a high content of press that
goes into print.
With the excitement for #DOTY2016 growing daily and some
amazing finalists, following on from a team meeting ~ we have
added an entire new dimension to this year’s competition! With such
interest, we are now also running a photographic competition to
crown not only our DOTY Winners for 2016, but also the 2016 DOTY
Winning Photographer.
Having run through the event and all timetabled, it really is going to
be an excellent event this year.

Video ~ The
event will be videoed and pulled together in a similar concept to the
video link from our summer video below.
Times ~ 9am – 5pm
All photographers of interest to submit, via email, 4 – 6
images of examples of their work. Together with supporting email
confirming availability and agreement to participate on 22nd
May in the DOTY finals. Any website links and a few words expressing
why feel most suited to work with our brand Derriere Equestrian.
We with then select 4 photographers as our finalists. Through the day,
there are 4 specific areas for photographers to work:
1 – Stairs entrance
shoot images (Indoors natural light & partial lighting)
2 – Backdrop and
lighting area for shoot images (Indoors, professional lighting)
3 – Natural light
shoot images indoors(Indoors natural lighting)
4 – Lifestyle images
outside, with lorry and Fallabella Pony and Dog (Outdoors natural
lighting)
The 4 photographers will be timetabled and rotated
through these 4 areas, working with our finalists both individually and
in pairs. Images will need to be shared with and the property of
Derriere Equestrian for the Judging of the models through the day.
However for the crowing of our winning photographer, we feel this
should be 2x weeks following having submitted post production images
for judging.
Really exciting concept, amazing opportunity for all
involved and we will as always ensure there is a plethora of press,
media and coverage for the full team.
The event will be formal, yet relaxed and great fun for
all. We will need assured commitment from our photographers for the
finals and are really excited at the opportunity to merge creative
talents and work together as a dynamic team.
