Derriere Equestrian Video Shoot

On Sunday 5th July 2015, the Derriere models and Derriere team met in Gloucester for our first video shoot!

Comprising of four male models - Jamie Roche, Levi Hunt, Matthew Burnett and Louis Peyton - and three female models - Catherine Pagnillo-Gordon, Laura Campbell and Laura-Eve Thyer - the team met in the morning for a continental breakfast before being prepared by the fabulous hair and make-up team and changing into Derriere Equestrian underwear, breeches and their show gear. The scene was framed by the models discovering the wonders of the strategically placed purple selfie sticks from which no one could escape!

The models were filmed being made up and having their photographs taken together to create a 'behind-the-scenes' video. The models showed a huge amount of patience by tilting their heads 'up--no-down-a-bit--too-far--back-up-a-bit' and took it all with great humour. The models were then asked to be wearing just Derriere underwear ready for the bulk of the day - the choreographed video shoot. As some individuals and pairs of models were being photographed, others were being filmed, whilst others were flailing a selfie stick.

This was briefly interrupted by lunch and refreshments, whereupon the models settled down for salad, sandwiches, banter and marshmallows.

The filming was resumed and the models took their places, draping beautifully over the sweeping stairs' bannisters and each other, and drifted down the stairs to take position whilst being filmed and photographed until it couldn't be perfected. The Derriere team then toyed with the idea of 'A Day at the Races' with the ladies in heels and fascinators and the gents in top hats and canes. They scaled the staircase with the iron-wrought bannisters for support, and cheered on imaginary racehorses shooting past them; this prompted much laughter from everyone at Derriere as some of the models really got into it, and as some were looking in the wrong direction of the 'horse'.

It was a fabulous day concluding with presents and thank you's to all involved, and Derriere Equestrian cannot wait to release the video - though the release of the bloopers are being dreaded!
